Whoopdeedoo. As soon as my common tests ended on Thursday, i went out to enjoy myself with Isaac and gang. Played some pool with them for a couple of hours at Ang Mo Kio. I must say my skill in pool has improve slightly. At least i can take my shots accurately now. To tell you the truth, in my whole life, that was only my FOURTH time playing pool. Yes, i'm not tt rich so i can't play it often. Really had fun cos i haven't had real fun in a looong time especially since my involvement with Poly forum and french club.
On Friday, it was a busy day for me cos i had to come to sch to plan out the 10th Anniversary this coming friday. I had to oversee the booking of tables, chairs and other necessities. Unfortunately the projector we wanted to borrow was already book by the Adventure club so now i have to find out who's the club's president and make up a deal with him cos we only need the projector for only half an hour. I also have to create a banner kind of thing to display the words "Joyeux dixieme Anniversaire L'exagone" and it has to be hung outside the room. I have to source out for the materials and make sure they fall in the budget.
Also, the room tt we're using was booked frm 4 pm onwards and the event starts at 6-6.30 pm approx. That leaves us little time to decorate the room. So now i also have to set up a deal with the Malay Cultural Group cos they are using the room b4 us and see if it's possible to for us to decorate the room while they're using it.
It sure is tough being a VP.
Today, went for another Poly Forum meeting. This time, we have to finalize our sub-theme's proposal so we were there from 10am all the way to 4.30pm just to do this. It was mentally taxing. Luckily aft the meeting, i got a little treat when my mum brought me and my siblings to Swensens for dinner. It's my first time actually eating a full meal there. The last time i went there was just to eat ice cream. Their fish chilli pasta is superb. Their seafood soup was also great. Tres deliceuse! I was so full tt as soon as i reached home, i had to lie down for an hour and couldn't get up.
My schedule for tmr. Helping out at the MILK run. MILK stands for Mainly I Love Kids. It's some charity event to raise funds for these kids and i was asked by Ms Lily Soh to help. Oh well, it IS for charity so i dun mind helping.
Btw, j'ai un question. Is Monday Youth Day? If it is, will us, the poly students, have sch on tt day? Pls, for those in poly, give me an answer. Cos i'm completely clueless abt this stuff.
