Was watching the news just now when an interesting piece of news came up. It's about typhoon Durian striking Phillipines. Ok, it's not that i see this tragedy as amusing or anything, i mean i do feel sorry for the victims and their famillies. However,what surprises me is the name given to the typhoon. Thyphoon DURIAN??!! Who the hell comes up with names for these typhoons anyway? Sheesh
Then i watched tabletennis semifinal match. Yawn. Once again, i see some foreigners playing for Singapore and winning. And people will be saying that SINGAPORE won, yay, hip hip hooray..bla bla bla. Are these people freaking blind? Why should we be proud when it's not a person who was born on our very own home soil who won the match? I bet you tomorrow's newspaper will be splashed with the news on how Singapore overcame the odds to win, and that they are capable to win gold now, bla bla bla. I'm gonna puke at the side now.
Recently, i've stumbled upon a very interesting anime on youtube. By anime, i mean japanese anime. It's called Otome wa Boku ni Koishiteru. What's interesting abt this anime is that its about a guy who has to dress up like a girl and attend an all girls school just because its his grandfather's last will. Pretty interesting and funny too. However, i must warn you that if you are below 18 or have any siblings below 18, please do not let them AND yourself watch this anime. Cos, well..it's just not meant for young kiddies. And no, i'm not a pervert by watching such anime.
Ooh, just wanna tell you all that i'm getting a laptop soon. Just upgraded my internet service to MaxOnline 12000 and so i'll be getting a free laptop. I chose the $169 upgrade option tho after considering some wise advise from others. But for that, i'll have to put a delay on buying my contact lenses and also applying for a licence. Yes, i'm planning to start wearing contact lenses instead of the regular specs cos i wanna have a perfect vision. Besides, if i wanna get a licence( a motorcyle one at that), it'll be uncomfortable for me to wear my specs and helmet at the same time. Laptop,lenses,licence. I'm gonna get them all. Nothing is gonna stand in my way.
