Yesterday was one hellava rollercoaster day for me. First of all, i came an hr late for the INDEC lecture and managed to sat in for only half an hr before Patrick Tony ended the lecture. Then, went for EDA lecture and once again just sat in and talked crap. After that, i had a 6 hours break cos my next lesson is only at 6.40 which is the MicroP lecture. So CJT,Booker and i decided to head to the airport to study. We decided to take bus 24 from Ang Mo Kio which was supposed to be a "direct" bus to the airport. But what an indirect bus it turned out to be. It passed thru so many small towns and industrial parks that we actually arrived an hour later.
Had lunch at Burger King over at terminal 2. Then went to the viewing area to study. By then it was already 4.30pm. We managed to study for only half an hr before deciding to have another go at eating. We tried to find the food court at Terminal 2 but couldn't find it. so we thought it might be in Terminal 1. But our assumptions were wrong and the only interesting thing we can find there is lots and lots of Indians(Don't ask me why). Then we decided to head back to school since it was already 5.30pm. I suggested taking bus 858 instead since it mainly pass thru the expressway, it's a faster way back. I forgot exactly where 858 terminates and i assumed it was at Terminal 1 since 24 terminates there too. But when we tried to look for it, we could only find SBS buses there. We were at a loss. Then we thought of looking for a information counter but there was not one in sight. I decided to call Azhar for help since he's living in Woodlands and all, he might know where i can take the bus from. Though he tried, he too couldn't find out the exact location. Then we decided to take the MRT. So we went back to Terminal 2.
While going down the escalating ramp toward the direction of the MRT, Booker saw a sign showing the direction of another bus terminal. So we followed that sign and reached the terminal. That was when we saw it. 858.
So i did manage to reach school in time. Took the lab test. Managed to get Section A right. But when it came to Section B, i couldnt complete the program on time. Blame me on my over-confidence i guess. I thot it's ok to spend more time on Section A since Section B SEEMED easy. In summary, screwed up my lab test big time.
Since i was feeling down, i thought i needed something to cheer myself up. So me,Booker, CJT, Isaac, TSH and Michael decided to head out for some late night meal. We initially wanted to go to the McCafe at AMK but upon reaching there, we realised it was packed with people. Luckily for us, there's another McDonald outlet at AMK central which btw is a 24 hr outlet. So, we head down there, made ourselves full(it was CJT's treat btw, the $4.1k man) and then went home around 12.15am.
One good thing abt yesterday? I managed to eat a slice of $4.50 cheesecake.
This morning, i had my french test. It was ok. Pas mal. I think i'll able to get a pretty good grade on that. :p
