Bad day? More like a bad week.
Failed my circuit assessment. Had 2 immediate failures and accumulated a total of 22 demerit pts. Bloody hell.
Need to complete a report for SLW asap. And the thing that pisses me off abt it is not only did he only gave us the report only early last week to complete, he rejected my report writing 3 times saying that it's not what he once.
Firstly, he said my report was too brief and technical. I was concentrating too much on the functionalities of the program rather than how to use it. He says my report has to describe on how the program works from the user point of view.
Ok, that was fine, i changed everything to suit what he wanted. I included step by step guidance on how to navigate thru the program. Then, he told me my report was too detailed and it was like a user manual of some sort. He wanted the report to point out the program's features rather than how to use it because, according to him, when ppl sees a new product, ppl are more interested in the features rather than how to use it. I'm like...what kind of logic is that? And didn't i do that in my very first draft? Pointing out of features and stuff?
Ok, nvm. That can be done too. After i followed exactly what he expected, he now says that i should show on how the user can get from one part of the program to another rather than just show the functionalities. Isn't that what i did in my second draft? On how to navigate thru the program?
Frankly, SLW is an idiot. He doesn't know what he's talking about, what he wants. He doesn't even know about Visual Studios and MS Access Database. The other day i was telling him abt how me and Mike wanted to combine the many tables of the database into one major table. The reply he gave us?
"Erm..i don't get what you mean. Is it easier to use from the user's point of view?"
I'm like..WTF? The database works in the "background" of the program and the user won't be literally accessing it. So why in the fucking blue hell should we think about whether it'll be easy to use from the user's point of view?
For those who don't get what i mean..let me use an example to explain the situation above. Say i'm running this blogger site. I wanted to make changes to the server, on how it is going to be run and stuff. Should i think about how it'll be easy to use from the user point of view? I mean...it's not as i 'm editing the HTML interface or something. So why should i care?
It sure is tough to be working under an idiot.
Seriously am having a VERY bad week.
And now, i feel like killing someone.
