Though it's the hols for everyone else, it is definitely not one for me.
For the past month after graduation, all i've been doing is going to and from sch, preparing the project and presentation for TKK Competition. In fact, tomorrow itself, i'll be having one rehearsal for the presentation with NYP's TKK committee. Apparently, its already the 3rd rehearsal session they're having and yet I haven't been to a single one so far. All because my project supervisor was initially reluctant to let us go for it.
Anyway, the thing abt this TKK presentation is that i have to present and demonstrate my project within 10 minutes and try to market it to the judges to make the project seem appealing. Now, the thing is, i was never good at marketing presentations (neither am I a business student) in the first place. I'm only good at technical presentations so if they were to ask me to explain all the technical aspects of my project, that would have been fine. And demonstration + presentation all in 10 mins?? I dunno which aspect of my presentation should i focus on and which should i leave out.
Should i focus on the purpose and targeted users of my project? Or the statistics? Or features? Or even the advantages and usefulness?
I tried going thru one round on my own and even without going thru the advantages and usefulness, i already take up close to 10 mins. So I guess i have to leave the advantages and usefulness to the Q&A session, if the judges ask abt it of course.
Shit. I feel so stressed out. And to think after this, i only have abt a month plus to REALLY relax before enlisting myself into hell..oops..i mean NS. :(
