Stay out lo!!
To commemorate my 401st post, i would like to announce tt from now till abt 13th of march, when my SAF driving course will end, i will not be required to stay in camp due to family circumstances.
Also, due to the declining viewership of my blog, i will not update it as much from now on.
Just an overview of what ive done during my driving course so far..
1. Learned to drive the landrover(circuit).
2. Took and passed my Highway Code Test on my first try (50/50).
3. Passed my landrover circuit driving assessment.
4. Started my landrover public road driving.
5. Passed my landrover public road assessment.
6. Started my 3 tonner public road driving.
7. Took my HSP(Highway Situational Problems) test and passed it on my first try.
Now, im just left with my Heights and Lashing test,where im tested on my judgement of load height as well as my ability to secure loads to the 3 tonner, my Parking test(3 tonner), my cross country driving lessons and finally the 3 Tonner Public Road Driving Assessment before i'm set to take the SAF Driving Test(equivalent to TP but harder to pass since it's assessed by SAF warrants) which will wrap up my entire driving course, scheduled to end by 9th of March.
What's after the 9th? Well, ill be having my Transport Supervisor Course which involves a couple of outfield exercises and this will end arnd mid-late April. By then. From there, ill go for the MSET course which teaches abt military vehicle maintainece and this will then be followed by a 5 tonner driving course. And this entire shitload of stuff is scheduled to end by 13th of May.
So, tt's abt it. NS life is boring as usual but im thankful for the fact tt im posted to a non combat vocation. Therefore its all slack and less chong sua.
Oh, before i forget, ive realised ive yet to post any pics of my army life. So here are some pics taken from my POP, just to give u a rough view of what i look like in tt shitty green uniform.
And lastly, my bunk mates, Gryphon Coy's Platoon 2, Section 2. Consisting of Ibrahim, myself, Brice, Vincent, Huihuang, Farhan, Yong Hong, Sofian, Russell and Melvin. Too bad my face didnt show up in the pic cos it was blocked by Huihuang's head.
