As of now, i am officially a 9th month soldier of the Singapore Armed Forces. 9 down,15 more to go.
Looking back on my army life so far starting from 16th Sep 2008..
- Served 3 months of BMT(PTP Batch) in Gryphon Coy, Platoon 2, Section 2 over at Pulau Tekong.
- Kicked off my Transport Supervisor Course in January with the Class 3/4 driving course which spanned all the way till early March.
- Went thru the main bulk of the Transport Supervisor Course from March till late April.
- Slack for a mth plus while waiting for empty slots in the 5 tonner/OUV driving course and the MSET course.
- Early June, started on the 5 tonner course which includes the Driver Continuation Program or DCP for short as well as the 2 day OUV driving course.
- Slacked for abt a week till the 10th of June when we head out to our respective postings. Feared the worst when I got posted to the 1 TPT Node, tho was relieved when i hrd i was earmarked for overseas posting.
- Found out tt i'm posted to Khatib Camp before getting posted overseas. The country in question here? Thailand.
And so, i will slack for a bit this week while i complete my dental FFI and shit required for overseas "postees" before gng to my unit. The longer i'm able to slack, the better...
